If I Had To Say Goodbye!

Posted on Updated on

Goodbye

If I had to say goodbye

Would there be any regrets – to refrain my steps

Or, would I aim full speed – not looking back?

Would my children be reminded – of my steadfast love

Would my past labor – wisdom taught – engrave my love

Or, will their heart grow colder – my memory forgotten?

Would my tender kisses – hugs

Seal my grand-children hearts

Or, would they believe them – to be a dream?

If I had to say goodbye

Would my empty space be noted

Like a pleasant radiance – would my light beam

Or, would it  be  minimal dent –  unnoticed like darkness?

If I had to say goodbye

What is there left to say

I’ve forgive wholeheartedly – love unconditionally;

Yet, If I had to say goodbye

Would the world even look back?
